Reincarnated In A Shitty Love Game

Chapter 226 - 226 chapter 208

226 chapter 20Oli swiftly picked up Xia and placed him on the bed. His pulse was slow but his breathing was very week. Xia’s body was flaming hot, hot enough to scotch his skin. “Did he want to starve himself to death?” He rushed to the door and threw it open. “Healer, call a healer here!!! Now!!!” he shouted loudly. One of the crews rushed to his command.

In just minute, an old man in white walked inside, panting. Oli dragged him to the bed and gestured for him to check.

The man wiped his sweat. “Ho—ly beast....let me take a breather,” he panted.

“We don’t have time. Check him now,” he shouted out loud. “His skin is clammy and hot to touch and his pulse is very slow,”

The old man shuddered and bowed. He sat down near the edge of the bed ad wiped Xia’s clammy forehead with a towel. “He’s burning up. We need to bring it down. Bring me a bowl of wine and a clean towel,” he urged the crew man waiting near the door.

Oli grabbed his collar and growled. “it’s not the time to drink!!!”

The old man trembled in fear. “it’s to bring his temperature down, my lord,” he stuttered.

Oli peered at him and nodded at the worker to bring him what he needed.

Soon the deck workers brought in a bowl of red wine and a towel. The old doctor took it carefully firm their hands and proceeded to carefully wiped Xia down with the wine. The red wine stained his milk like skin, letting behind a small residue of red. The old man did not falter from his beauty, rather he maintained his professionalism and helped him into a new shirt. But by chance he saw his stomach and frowned. It was slightly bloated. He pressed it down. The bump was firm to touch. “I think I should check his pulse,” he pulled out a clean white cloth from his medicine box and placed it gently on Xia’s wrist.

.....

“What is it? Is it his stomach? This guy didn’t eat for days...I think he might have an upset stomach. Darn it, I should have poured the porridge down his throat,” Oli grumbled next to him.

The old man rolled his eyes at him. He carefully listened to his heart beat. “Hmm weird, why is this so?” he whispered with his eyes wide open.

“What is it? Is it too bad? Is he dying?” Oli whispered anxiously from the side. It was initially his idea to kidnap him. On impulse he took him and rushed to the boat. ‘I really shouldn’t have....like a coward I kidnapped his mate. Darn it where is my pride,’ he scratched his head in frustration. He watched the old man wipe his sweaty forehead again. “Tell me, is he dying?”

“No...but....I don’t know how it’s possible,” he stuttered, glancing down at the ground. “It is my first time seeing this condition...I’m not sure how to deal with it. Holy beast, no, lord, I think it’s better to dock kin the nearby islands and get him checked up with a healer,”

“Spit it out, what is wrong with him.” Oli shouted all of a sudden.

Xia groaned softly and whimpered. The old man softly patted his head and glanced up at the blue-haired Kirin. “Can—can we talk alone?” he whispered.

“Why, can’t you say it here?” Oli whispered with his eyes narrowed.

“He is very sick right now and need ample amount of sleep. Its—its better in a silent environment,” he stuttered back, glancing at him in fear.

Oli grumbled and dragged him out by his collar. He pulled him directly over to his study and locket the door behind them. “Now tell me what is wrong?”

Just as they left, Xia slowly opened his eyes and glanced at the door. ‘What is wrong with me? Why is that healer being so suspicious?’ he pulled himself up with difficulty. He carefully checked his temperature, it had gone don thanks to the wine bath he got but still something was bugging his mind.

He glanced down at his tummy and poked it just like that doctor did. It was very firm to touch. “I guess I am constipated.... bet that doctor was embarrassed to inform this out loud,” he shook his head with a small smile.

“Either way, its best to check my pulse as well,” he pulled his sleeve down. But something was amiss. His blue lotus mark was gone. “Weird, it was here before...” he scratched his skin, but the mark did not appear at all. “What is going on?”

“Why did the mark disappear? Where did....did it go?” he mumbled to himself while continuously scorching. His skin turned red and raw. Soon he broke his skin and blood oozed out. “Where is it?” he whispered softly.

His dry eyes teared up again. His heart ached so badly. First, he lost his master, now he lost his only connection to his mother.... his shoulders trembled as a small sob escaped. he hugged his knees close and cried his heart out.

“Why are you up? Get rest now,” the blue-haired man said from near the doorway.

Xia completely ignored his presence and sobbed loudly. “It’s all because of my luck...because I’m so unlucky my master died, ‘sob’ I’m so unlucky so my mother left me... she completely let go of me. Why? I was a good son. I was,” he cried loudly, glancing at his bloodstained wrist.

Oli noticed his anomaly immediately. He caught his hand and carefully held his wrist. His wrist was torn and blood was gushing out uncontrollably. “What have you done?!!! Healer!! Come here darn it!!”

His loud screams echoed through the hallway below deck. The workers shivered and the healer himself trembled in fear.

He swiftly ran back in and glanced inside.

“Come come you geezer, he is bleeding badly,” Oli shouted anxiously.

The healer wiped his sweaty forehead nervously. He sat next to his bedside and helped bandage it. But Xia refused. He refused to hand his hand over.

“Give him your hand now!!” Oli pulled him gently, but the crayfish resisted. “Why are you like a child? Give your hand or you’ll die,” he shouted.

Xia’s lips trembled, and he sobbed out loud. “N—no, I want to see it. I want to see if my mother still loves Me.” he whispered, hugging his hand close. His newly dressed white shirt completely turned red. “I—I want to see it.. I want my mother...” he cried. His eyes went blurry. Only the vague figure of the old man and the Kirin was visible. Someone kept trying to pull his hand, but he hugged his wrist tightly. “Don’t..., it’s my only link,”

Oli gritted his teeth and scratched his head anxiously. He watched the stupid crayfish lose consciousness again. He swiftly pulled his hand out and held it to the old man.

The healer silently chanted a spell, and the wound healed clean. “He has lost a lot of blood; I will give you some pills for that. As for his situation... its—it’s better to feed him something. You can’t mistreat a person who is in this situation” the healer silently grumbled.

Oli nodded reluctantly. “It’s not like I’m torturing him. This stupid guy refused to eat anything,” he whispered.

“Then i can issue you some pills for that as well. As for now, try feeding him something light, like plain porridge,”

Oli mentally noted his prescription. He took the pills and carefully memorised them by colour. After he was done, he unceremoniously chased the old geezer out.

He pulled a chair and sat down. His keen eyes focused n the unconscious Xia.

“I really should not have brought you here...” he whispered softly and caressed his sunken cheeks. Without lancing back, he went out the door directly to the kitchen. The slaves there glanced at him in fear. “Make some porridge. Plain without any condiments,” he stood by the door and watched him make it.

The trembling slaves cooked it quickly and handed it to him with trembling hands.

Oli nodded his thanks and walked out, only then did the slaves let out a breath of relief.

Oli went straight over to Xia’s room and placed the tray next to the bed. There were few bottles of pills next behind it. He opened the red one, popped one out. He gently pried open Xia’s mouth and placed it in.

He was not swallowing.

Oli cussed out loud. He gently lifted his head over to his lap and held his head high. With a spoon he fed him water. While doing so, he kept a careful check on his throat if he was swallowing or not. It is very easy for an unconscious person to choke. So he carefully fed him his pills.

He placed his head back on the pillow and pulled the duvet up to his chin. Watching him sleep so peacefully, he sighed. “I became a f*ucking nanny, ‘sigh’ little crayfish you should be grateful that I’m kind to you,”

“why—why should I be?” a soft voice whispered back.

“why not? I’m taking care of you,” Oli said as a matter of fact.

Xia glanced at him and huffed. “You are the reason that I’m like this,”

“HUH? No, I’m not. Why would you be like this because of me?” Oli said frantically and backed away. “You should blame your dragon for this, not me,” he blushed and ran out.

Watching the closed door, Xia shed a silent tear. “Long, I miss you,” he cried softly and rolled over.
