Lunar Supremacy: The Original Alpha

Chapter 26 CH: 26

Vincent took Sophia back home after their intimate moment together. Although he wanted to introduce himself to her family, Sophia was against it due to their strictness. He understood her concerns and gave in to her wishes.

As they reached her house, Vincent parked the car around the corner and turned to her. "Are you sure you're okay?" he asked, his voice laced with concern.

Sophia nodded, offering him a small smile. "Yeah, I'm fine. I already drink some pain relievers. I just need some time to rest."

"I apologized, I promised you that I'll be gentle but you were just too adorable " he leaned over and kissed her gently.

"It's alright, I enjoyed it ." she smiled and kissed him back.

"Take all the time you need. And if you need me, just call."

Sophia nodded, getting out of the car and walking towards her house. Vincent watched her until she was safely inside before driving off into the night.

As he drove home, Vincent's thoughts were consumed with his new powers and the hunger that came with them. He realized that his control was weakest during the full moon, and he wondered how he would be able to contain himself. Perhaps a vault would work, he mused.

Fortunately , he has one month to spare before the next full moon.

Once he arrived home, he sat down with a cup of coffee and pulled out Debbie's calling card. He sent her a text, not expecting a reply at such a late hour. But to his surprise, Debbie responded quickly.

"I've been waiting for you to contact me," she wrote.

Vincent was skeptical but curious. "How did you know that I'm not an ordinary human?" he asked.

"I'll answer your question if you meet me now," Debbie replied.

Vincent hesitated. It could be a trap, but he needed answers. "It's almost midnight already," he pointed out.

"This is the perfect time," Debbie insisted, sending him an address.

Vincent knew he had to go. He grabbed his jacket and left.

The address led him to a rundown bar on the downtown of the city. As he stepped inside, he noticed that the place was almost empty, except for a few shady figures sitting at the bar.

"Vincent, over here," a voice called out to him from the corner of the room. It was Debbie, sitting at a dimly lit table with a bottle of whiskey and two glasses.

Vincent approached her cautiously, but with a sense of curiosity. He sat down across from her, and she poured them both a drink.

"Cheers," she said, raising her glass.

Vincent took a sip of the whiskey, feeling the warmth spread through his body. He looked at Debbie, waiting for her to speak.

Debbie toyed with the straw in her drink as she leaned back in her chair, regarding Vincent with a mixture of curiosity and caution.

"You must be curious how I figured it out?" she teased him.

Vincent arched a brow. "Do you know what I am?" he asked.

"Nope," Debbie replied with a shake of her head. "I just know that you're a supernatural being. As for what kind, I don't know."

Vincent leaned forward, his eyes narrowed. "Then why did you expose yourself to me?"

"I'm a supernatural being too," Debbie whispered, leaning in closer , their face almost touching.

"You're a werewolf too?" he asked, clearly puzzled.

Debbie's eyes widened in surprise. She immediately clapped a hand over his mouth. "Shh!" she hissed. "You're a werewolf?"

Vincent removed her hand from his mouth, looking perplexed. "What's wrong?"

"What's wrong? You're supposed to be hiding if you're one!" Debbie exclaimed, realizing that Vincent was clueless about the supernatural laws of the city.

Vincent looked at her with confusion. "What are you talking about?

Debbie's eyes widened even further.

"Let's get out of here first. Take me to your car," she said, grabbing his hand and leading him outside.

Once they were safely inside Vincent's car, She turned to him and said, "Show me your eyes."

"What do you mean? I'm not wearing any sunglasses," Vincent replied, clearly bewildered.

"No, I mean show me your wolf eyes," Debbie said urgently.

Understanding dawned on Vincent's face as he closed his eyes and concentrated. When he opened them again, they glowed a bright orange.

Debbie's eyes widened in surprise. "Why is it bright orange? It's almost gold," she said.

Vincent looked confused. "What do you mean? And how do you know about this stuff?"

Debbie paused, taking a moment to gather her thoughts.

"I come from a long line of witches, so in a way, I'm part supernatural. And I know about werewolves because of my great-grandmother's grimoire," she said, finally answering his question.

Vincent leaned in, eager to learn more. "So, what kind of werewolf am I?"

Debbie studied his eyes for a moment before answering. "Your eyes are orange, which typically means that you're a Beta. But it's almost gold in color, which is not common for a Beta. How did you become a werewolf, anyway?" she asked.

Vincent took a deep breath before answering. "It's a long story. I was in Rome when I got into an accident. I don't remember much, but the next thing I knew, I had this new power."

Debbie's eyes widened in surprise. "That's interesting. Do you know who turned you?"

Vincent shook his head "I don't know much about what happened to me, but I do remember having this vivid dream about a man named Fenrir."

"Fenrir? The god of the moon?" she exclaimed, her eyes widening in surprise.

He nodded, and Debbie's excitement grew.

"Oh my god, you might be a descendant of a werewolf god!"

"Really? Do you know anything else about him?" Vincent's eyebrows shot up. He was finally getting some answers about that weird dream.

' Maybe I can become more powerful after figuring out more about my origin?' he thought to himself as he finally exposed his greatest fear.

He had come to terms with the reality that he was now a werewolf, but he wasn't foolish enough to ignore the potential consequences of his transformation.

The thought of being captured by the government and subjected to inhumane experiments filled him with fear and dread. He knew that he needed to be careful and cautious in navigating his new existence. After all, the supernatural world was not one to be taken lightly.
